Crossing Our Fingers for Some Drought Relief
The future forecast predicts a period of unsettled weather with multiple rounds of rain and potential thunderstorms. Currently, Friday morning appears to be the most probable time for rainfall. This is several days away and weather conditions could impact the timing of the much-needed rain.
“We do expect very beneficial rain Friday through Sunday, with amounts around 2 inches for North Alabama... the southern counties have potential for 2-4 inches. Very good news for a state that still is experiencing drought conditions,” said Spann.
