Alabama football continues to ramp up spring practice as they prepare for the annual A-Day scrimmage that takes place on April 13th this year. However, one of Alabama's offseason additions along the offensive line isn't preparing with the team.

According to reports last Thursday, Alabama transfer offensive lineman Parker Brailsford was not with the team during the Crimson Tide's first scrimmage of the spring. Brailsford's absence was not believed to be injury-related. It was first reported by Tony Tsoukalas of Tide Illustrated.

Tsoukalas added to that report on Monday, reporting that Brailsford was still not with the team during recent practices.

It was also reported that the Alabama staff was giving Brailsford space during this time as he worked through some things. As more details emerge, Tide 100.9 will continue to update on Brailsford's journey.

Parker Brailsford transferred from Alabama to Washington and has been expected to compete for a starting job along the Crimson Tide's offensive line this spring. In-house center James Brockermeyer is also competing for that position.

Alabama continues spring practice on Wednesday, April 3rd as they prepare for A-Day on Saturday, April 13. The annual open scrimmage will kick off at 3:00 p.m. CT and will be open and free to the public.
