The Alabama Crimson Tide ended its regular season with a 9-3 record and is on the bubble regarding the 12-team College Football Playoff field. Kalen DeBoer was asked about Alabama's playoff pitch in the postgame press conference following a 28-14 victory over the Auburn Tigers.

"We've beaten more ranked teams than anyone else in the country," DeBoer said. "We've won five out of our last six games."

The Crimson Tide will await the decision by the College Football Playoff Committee on December 8. If the selections were based on the AP and the Coaches Poll, Alabama would be IN the 12-team playoff field, traveling to South bend, Indiana to play against Notre Dame.

Before December 8, however, there will be many projections and speculations as to where Alabama will land. What do the College Football experts think about the Crimson Tide?

Bill Bender - Sporting News

Bender has Alabama earning the final at-large bid in the College Football Playoffs, coming in as the No. 12 seed. Alabama would travel to play the No. 5 seed, Penn State, in Happy Valley. Bender Predicts Alabama to lose the game.

Jerry Palm - CBS Sports

Jerry Palm's projection has Alabama being left out of the College Football Playoffs, but making the Citrus Bowl. Palm projects Alabama to play against Illinois on December 31. Palm had the same prediction following Alabama's 24-3 loss to Oklahoma.

Crawford has changed his projection from a week ago. He initially had Alabama going to the Citrus Bowl to play against Illinois following Alabama's 24-3 loss to Oklahoma. Now, Crawford projects Alabama to make the CFP, earning the No. 11 seed. Alabama would travel to State College, Pennsylvania to face No. 6 Penn State in the first round of the CFP. Crawford went on the predict Alabama to win that game, advancing to the quarterfinals to face No. 3 seed SMU in the Peach Bowl in Atlanta, Georgia. Crawford went on to predict Alabama would win that game, advancing to the Orange Bowl semifinal game to play against Texas. Crawford has Alabama losing that game.
