TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama shortstop Justin Lebron continues to rack up preseason awards ahead of his third and presumably final year with the Crimson Tide, being named to D1Baseball's Preseason All-American Second Team.

UCLA's Roch Cholowsky is D1Baseball's first team choice at short.

The honor is Lebron's second of the preseason, previously being named to Perfect Game's Preseason All-American list as a member of the first team.

Lebron is currently the only member of the Crimson Tide to earn All-American honors this preseason.

The Miramar, Fla. native started all 59 games for the Crimson Tide in 2025, hitting .316 with 18 doubles, 18 home runs, and 72 RBIs — a program record for RBIs in a season by any sophomore or shortstop. Lebron's efforts in 2025 earned him multiple All-American honors.

The Crimson Tide begins its season on February 13 at The Joe against Washington State.
